Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a ReNote AI account, we collect your name, email address, and a secure password hash. This is required to provide and secure your account.
Product Data
Depending on the ReNote products you use, we may process handwritten notes (via ReNote Scan or GPT Pen), voice recordings and transcripts (via ReNote Voice), visual captures (via ReNote Glasses), and meeting transcriptions (via ReNote Notetaker). This data is used solely to deliver the service to you.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as feature interaction rates) to improve our products. This data cannot be tied back to an individual.
How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
Your data is used to provide, maintain, and improve the ReNote AI services you use. We use AI models to process your captured content and return organized, searchable intelligence.
No Advertising
We do not use your data to serve advertisements. ReNote AI is a subscription-based service — your data is never monetized.
Product Improvement
With your explicit consent, anonymized samples may be used to improve our AI models. You can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings.
Data Storage & Security
Encryption
All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Encryption keys are managed per-account and are never accessible to ReNote AI employees.
Server Locations
Data is stored in ISO 27001-certified data centers in the EU and US. You can choose your preferred data region in account settings.
Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently purged within 30 days.
Your Rights
Access & Portability
You can request a full export of all your data at any time via account settings. Exports are delivered in open formats (JSON, PDF, TXT).
Deletion
You may delete individual records, entire product vaults, or your full account at any time. Deletion is immediate in your view and permanent within 30 days.
GDPR & CCPA
If you are based in the EU or California, you have additional rights including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Third-Party Services
Infrastructure Partners
We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers (subject to strict data processing agreements) to operate our services. We do not share your content data with these providers beyond what is required to run the service.
No Data Brokers
ReNote AI does not engage with data brokers or advertising networks. Your information is not shared for marketing purposes by any third party.

Policy Changes
